100 lbs. Difference in Pant Size

100lbs. Difference in Pant Size

Wow.

You know sometimes when you’re focusing on performance you don’t really notice the difference in how you look. I’ve been a performance oriented guy all my life. I want to know what you or I can do and in fact I find it a little suspect for a guy to be over focusing on how he looks.

I realize that most of the world is much more interested in how you look than what you do, but maybe you can have both. And don’t take that, “Wow,” as tooting my own horn. It’s just that when you look at the accompanying picture you can see a huge difference.

These are pants I wore at 385. The pic is me at 284 pounds.

So how did I lose enough weight to get a picture like that? Basically I followed all the principles that are already laid out in Twisted Conditioning I and II. I got real crazy on the kettlebell swing and figured out a way to eat like a man, but still burn off body fat.

We’ll be talking to you much more very soon about specializing on the swing and eating. But the basics of my training will always be the same. The Twisted Conditioning style: Smart heavy lifting, intense conditioning, consistency balanced with variety.

Congratulations Bud on your weight loss but I have to say heavy or 100
pounds lighter, you still awesome. And when you were heavy you were very
active, so even if you kept the weight, you still were healthy like you said
    in the interview.
I can’t wait to see the video of you doing those sleigh/push up exercises.
I saw some Kettle weights two days ago and thought of you right away. Next
year I will buy two of them & will start working out with them. You’re the
reason why I want to start.
Keep up the good work Sir.

    Bud,

I saw the photo on your site with you inside the pants you used to wear. The weight loss shows an ability to focus your mind to make your body do what you want it to do. Few people
have that ability. One thing I noticed in that photo was the tremendous developmental effect the kettlebell swing has had on your shoulders. I am a function over form trainer, but I
could not help but notice the effect. Properly done, the kettlebell swing is not a “shoulder only” movement. As you have stated, the kettlebell swing spreads the stress all over the body.

I am presently doing the kettlebell swing with a single dumbbell. However, I am ordering a loadable kettlebell handle and taking advantage of the benefits (and torture) of kettlebell swings.

Bud, you are amazing…..kettlebell swing is one of my favourite all around conditioners, i like to mix it with atomic pushups, hit the whole body.
