Hey. You still paying attention? Good. Because, we’re going to learn about your health and some smart things you need to do today. All right? Here’s the next and seventh tip in our health and fat loss series. Listen. You’ve got to reframe your idea on what work is. Most people, when they go to workout, and I’m talking about the average person. But, really, a lot of even fairly a light level, not your super a light level, but your fairly high level athletic people, don’t look at working out in the right mental framework.
They perceive it as pain, as suffering. It’s not. Pain is your leg is broke, not I did a few extra reps. Pain is not I sweated hard. Pain is not I worked until the lactic acid built up and my muscles burned. That is not true pain. You’ve got to restructure your idea on what work is. Because, for most people, to tell the flat truth, a mild workout will help you. Especially in the beginning. You need to get better and then you need to build some basics in your physical ability and into your health.
But, for most people, for the kind of results, you’re truly honest to God looking for, the workout has to be strong, aggressive, and for real. Not only do you have to restructure you idea on what work is and what pain is, most people have no idea how far they can go. I will tell you this.
Anybody who’s willing to come train with me, you train with me for just a little bit of period of time, I can have you knocking out 1000 repetitions of kettlebell swing in just a few months if you’re willing to do the work. You have the physical ability to do it, you’ve got to restructure how you think about it. You really want to lose fat? Those are the kind of workouts you’ve got to do. You really want to build your health? Those are the workouts you’ve got to do.
Not every workout. Not that often. And not that many times a week do you have to suffer like you’re going to the gallows. It’s not about that. And, it doesn’t have to be four hours at a time. But, you’ve got to do some real work. Because, to be honest, fat wants to stay on your body. It does on mine, it does on most people’s bodies. You’ve got to work to get it off. Restructure the way you think about it.
