The thirty-fourth tip on health and weight loss.

How are you doing today? Bud Jeffries, strongerman.com, superhumantraining.com, back with another tip on fat loss, super fit, and super health.

Listen, this is today’s tip: kick most of the bad stuff out of your house. I believe its OK to consume a cookie or whatever else you want to do it. I think life is too short to never eat a cookie. I don’t want to live that way, you don’t want to live that way but you still want to increase fat loss and meet goals and there’s nothing wrong with that.

The most people most of the time, especially in the beginning of their diet but really in the long term maintenance, you tend to get slack if you don’t stay vigilant. If you don’t kick most of the bad food out of your house, you will just be out of wack. Most people cannot say no! If you keep them around, they will eat them.

I’m that way, I will flatly admit it; cookie anonymous or whatever, not that cookies are a big deal for me. If they are around they are too freakin’ easy to eat; you can’t keep them around all the time. That doesn’t mean you should never have them around the house, you absolutely should.

Life is life; I’ve done some stupid stuff in the name of working out. I have skipped Christmas stuff, went on Christmas Eve to work out when I should have been at home hanging out with the family. Not that I neglected them I’m not saying that. On the flip side, you don’t have to live your life like a monk to get this done. You can have a cookie every now and then, but be careful about keeping them. And most people, if they don’t get it done, especially in the very beginning, they literally will not be able to resist temptation. The longer you go, the better you’ll get at it.

Stock your house with the right foods. Keep smart stuff. Fruit, vegetables, oatmeal, the right kind of meat. In the house. Don’t give yourself the option very often to do it. When you do get that option, limit it. Don’t buy a Sam’s Club 800 pack of cookies, buy a small one. You get it, be smart, be moderate. Think about getting the bad stuff out of your house.
