All right, here we are. Back again. More tips on health and fat loss, super strength, super fitness. Listen, one of the things you really need to learn about is, how to take care of yourself. One of the big things in doing that, and the tip for today is: sleep and rest.
Listen, I told you in the earlier tips, you’ve got to develop an active lifestyle, get off the couch. But most people, let’s be realistic, they’re working 50-60 or more hours a week. Especially in today’s economy. They are doing lots of crazy stuff, maybe they are staying up late. Listen, gain muscle and gain strength as you rest.
You don’t gain it by working out more. You have a finite ability to gain. Because you worked out four times this week does not mean you are going to lose fat faster if you work out five. Sometimes it does if you burn more pure calories, but you are not necessarily going to physically improve by not resting.
You have to create a balanced lifestyle. That means, you know what, you may have to eventually shut off the TV and go to bed or find a way to rest in a way that gets you through. Another thing is, that when you are inadequately rested, your hormones get screwed up. You don’t produce testosterone like you should; you don’t produce the other things like you ought to.
And you know what, it shuts off the healthy fat loss, too. If you are not rested, your body doesn’t work. For most people, that’s a point of taking care of themselves that they overworked, that will shut off their gains, if they don’t take care.
