Health and Weight Loss 27

The twenty-seventh tip on health and weight loss.

Hey, Bud Jeffries, Strongerman.com. Just so you know, vary the entry there. Hey, listen. Pay attention. Visit our websites. Make sure you know what’s up. OK?

Here’s the next tip on health. This is really big, in my opinion on health building on but it applies to everything else that you do. Up the intensity in your workout and it will radically accelerate your fat loss.

I’m going to be flat honest with you. Most people don’t work out hard enough to get the kind of results they want. They’re sold a bill of goods that tells them, just work out easy and you’ll get the results. Let me tell you something, the average person will not get real help or real results in fat loss without plain hard working.

We talked about this in some of our early tips, undoing your thoughts on what is work and what is hard and what is painful and what is suffering is. You’ve got to work out hard. I’m going to tell you the flat truth OK? I didn’t work out a million times a week or for a million hours at a time. I worked out. I wasn’t screwing around. I was working out hard. It helped me lose a hundred pounds.

Most people simply don’t learn how to generate enough intensity in their workout to do it. Now what does it have to do with health? You see a lot real hard core lifters who work out insanely hard but they’re not healthy. Most of them don’t combine a real diet. They don’t combine the other things necessary to build that. They have it mastered to work out hard but they actually beat themselves up too much.

Here’s the thing, there’s a level of health, there’s a level of strength, there’s a level of vitality that your body is forced into when you build a real intense workout. But most people will never understand that. They will never experience it. There’s a level of health and just literally feeling wonderful, walking around strong that you get from a hard workout that conditions your cardiovascular and muscular systems.

And what those do when there intensity is high enough is it conditions your internal organs to build health. Why? Because only a healthy body can truly produce hardcore workouts. You might get away with it in certain instances, but not for long periods of time. That’s why those hard workouts produce that. Make use a level of vitality which is most people truly want. That’s why my workouts are the way they are. That’s why I do those crazy kettlebell things, and other things. Because it’s good. The intensity makes you strong, makes you healthy, makes you vital.
