The twenty-fourth tip on health and weight loss.

Here’s the next tip on super health and super general and super fat loss. My name is Bud Jeffries, Strongerman.com. Hopefully you’ve been watching these tips. And getting some real help and real fat loss help. Fat loss isn’t everything in the world. You need to get fit to, but health is. You need to have it

Here’s the next thing. You know what? You have just got to get over food in the beginning. For instance, everybody obsesses about food. Do you need to be smart and think about food? Absolutely. Food is a health builder or a health killer depending on how you use it. But food in everything , athletes are the worlds worst about this, they won’t even enter workout if they haven’t had the proper preworkout nutrition, proper post-workout nutrition.

Listen don’t complicate your life. Food is not every thing in the world. There are examples of people, even though they’re not optimal , reasonably healthy without the best diets in the world. You won’t get that loss without a good diet. That doesn’t mean food is everything.

Here’s what I want you to have from that. Freedom from thinking about it so much. If you obsess about it, it’s tends to mess you up over a period of time, you’ll get ticked, you’ll get mad about it. You’ll get “I don’t want to do this anymore. I hate other people that talk about food. I’m going to shoot the next guy who has a diet commercial on television.”

That kind of an attitude and you go off and you eat three boxes of Ring Dings and it’s all shot in the foot. Don’t think about it that much. Food should be simple, it should be automatic, it should be helpful in your life. You know what? Do what you want. You know what, if you miss a meal, it’s not a big freakin’ deal. You’re not tied to food like a lot of the modern nutritionists try to set.

In fact, you may eventually do what I’ve done and certainly in instances experiment with, specifically go without food under certain times, just to see how it will affect the body. You know what I found? I’m not talking about nine day fasts or anything crazy like that. I’m talking about little pieces, here and there, where I skipped lunch to see how it affected me. You know what? It didn’t. Now if ever you should just skip meals on the weight loss plan, what I’m saying is, you know get over thinking about it all the time,

Create a simple plan, follow that simple plan and don’t worry about the other stuff in your life. Worry about making more money, doing better things in your life, like keeping your wife happy, fixing those things you promised you’d fix, play with your kids, playing in the pool, getting more spiritually developed, whatever it is. Simplify, stop worrying about it.

In the long run, the lack of mental stress created and the reality of simplifying then the reality will just getting over it to begin with, will accelerate your weight loss.
