The fourteenth video in the series on health and weight loss.

More tips on fat loss food, health and everything to get your lifestyle together to get that to work. Now, here’s the big thing. Don’t believe that you can get by without a simple lifestyle. Simplicity is the key to making this whole thing work. Don’t make your life, don’t make your workout, don’t make the food complicated.

Flavor the food any way you want. But, don’t think it’s got to be incredibly complicated. In moving toward health, I don’t honest to God believe in a six meal a day diet plan. It gets too complicated, difficult, too hard to deal with, for most people. I don’t think it fits in the natural scheme of how humans are supposed to be. I don’t think it allows for digestion. I don’t think it’s correct on a historical standpoint.

If you can follow in any way the supposition that our ancestors were healthier than us because their world was less chemically inundated and their food was less screwed up, look at the way they also ate. They ate whatever was natural to their environment. They ate simple, basic foods. They had simple lives. Their exercise was mostly work related, but it was simple.

Don’t think you have to have the most complicated routine in the world. You don’t. I use three or four workouts a week. One or two heavy lifting sessions, one or two sessions with kind of an interval, little harder thing, and one or two sessions with a kettlebell or, another implement, where I just went crazy for about 30 minutesand did as many reps as I could.

Simple stuff. I ate in my normal pattern. I actually eat about twice a day. Following being hungry, simple foods. Don’t make it complicated. Don’t over complicate it. Why?
Any machine with a million moving parts is a lot more likely to break down than a simple machine. That’s how you’ve got to make your life. Simple. Simple breeds fat loss. The more automatic you can make your life, the more simple you can make it over a period of time, the greater you health will be.

I mean, eat when you’re hungry. For most people I think that’s going to be three meals a day. Isn’t that about the best way to do it? You cut your calories about right, helps you out, it allows you to experience hunger, but it’s not so much hunger that you go nuts and you eat the cheeseburger. Simplify your life, simplify your training. Get you goals purposely focused in one way. Simple basic focus is that point of you are making a difference in fat.
